All fabric products are made in Portugal, the country known for its craftsmanship and knowledge of textiles. The manufacturers have suppliers for accessories (ribbons, labels, embroidery) within a radius of 200 km from the factory. This allows them to work together towards the ultimate goal: growing in a sustainable way.
All textile products have the STANDARD 100 label, which means that every component of an item has been tested for harmful substances. The product is given the label if it is harmless in human ecological terms. Garbo products are therefore safe for babies and children.
The fact that all textile products are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified shows how sustainable Garbo and Friends is and how committed they are to the environment. They are constantly looking for ways to become more sustainable.

Susann Karlsson Nemirovsky, owner and designer, is the creative brain behind this Scandinavian brand. She designs all the prints herself, which are mainly inspired by nature. The colour palette is modest and the botanical designs are friendly. Currently, there are 13 different prints in the collection. The prints can be found on different products and combine beautifully with the plain coloured products.
Many of the prints can be found in the textile collection which includes large swaddles, baby towels, bedding and changing mat covers. The most popular print is the Garbo & Friends Fauna. We totally understand that the Fauna print is number 1! This fairytale-like print has a deep blue-grey colour with a print of small leaves and animals that live in the forest. There is hardly any repetition in the print which makes each piece almost unique. Every time you see a different animal. The Fauna series consists of a changing mat cover, bed linen, fitted sheet and a bed organizer. Timelessly beautiful for a girl's or boy's room.
